The Girls' Book of Glamour - A Guide To Being A Goddess
Sally Jeffrie
4/5
review by: Cora Lydon

Perfectly packaged in shocking pink cover with a splash of silver this book is likely to appeal to any teens who know their eyelash curlers from their loofahs. The book is set out in short, bite-sized entries that help readers learn how to do anything from how to put on a fashion show or to persuade a friend to lend you her clothes through to how to get shiny hair and do a French manicure.

The advice is easy to follow and best of all, doesn't require the reader to spend much money to achieve results. Simple illustrations add a touch more inspirational glamour. The book is aimed squarely at school-age teens (with advice such as how to customise your school uniform without your teacher noticing) but is sure to be a hit with image-conscious girls.
