Prepare for more mayhem and some ‘serious attitude’ from the ginger-haired hellraiser in Angry Kid Series 2, released on DVD for the first time this May. The embittered kid in a parka is the hero of these 25 mini-adventures created by Aardman Animations; but Angry Kid couldn't be further from the amiable antics of Wallace & Gromit. If he's not stuffing himself with chocolate and fizzy drinks until he's sick, Angry Kid is ramming a cotton bud up his nose or relentlessly picking on his little sister.

This latest burst of teen angst sees Angry Kid put his dad under intense pressure with a host of awkward questions such as wondering exactly what will happen after his parents die and just how much inheritance will he get. Angry Kid also tests out a slingshot, discovers if he really has Tourette's and even tries Russian ‘hammer’ roulette. From his attempts to ring for phone sex to a loud and smelly farting contest this collection is sarcastic, irreverent and definitely not aimed at kids.

Animated using a process called pixilation, director Darren Walsh created Angry Kid using a real actor as a base for a series of masks, creating movements frame by frame. Originally played on the Internet and digital television, Angry Kid is the perfect mischievous entertainment to add to any DVD collection.
