The spiky blue hedgehog returns to DS and is thankfully back to form after his pitiful next-gen console outings late last year. The dual-screen functions of Nintendo’s handheld are put to good use, and the sense of speed as Sonic bounces around is as good as it’s ever been. The platform gameplay is nicely broken up with the odd 3D boat race section and the graphics are as bright and colourful as you’d expect. Rush Adventure is the best Sonic game in ages, and just the ticket to brighten up a dreary autumn commute.
