Manchester United – The Big Game
3/5
review by: Daniel Pole

From Sir Alex Ferguson to Cristiano Ronaldo, from Bobby Charlton to George Best, Manchester United are recognised the world over for their big stars and influential figures in the world of football.

What Manchester United – The Big Game does is give you the chance to test your knowledge on these heroes and arguably the biggest, and most successful, football club the world has ever seen.

From hundreds of video clips of the teams greatest premiership players to over 500 questions, this trivia game definitely has the stamina to last the full 90 minutes but the only thing that concerns me is whether it has enough to attract those who aren’t passionate about the red side of Manchester.

I must admit, I’m not the biggest Manchester United fan in the world but what this game does have is an amazing vault of trivia which will test even the most ardent Red Devils fan.

Each time you unlock one of the 11 challenges a member of the United all-time eleven is revealed, as chosen by fans throught the website, www.manutd.com.

I found this to be an excellent incentive as once all the challenges are completed it gives the player a chance to win a selection of prizes including VIP tickets to a United game.

Overall, I think this would make an excellent gift for any die hard Manchester United fan this Christmas but I don’t think its attraction stretches to a wider audience.
